Otherwise, make sure you let them know within 30 days of being at your new address so EDF can transfer your new contract and supply your new property in time. Once you change your address with EDF, here is when the changes will take place:

  • If you decide to switch after your 14-day “cooling off period”: The changing process should be completed within five working days after the 14-day cooling off period has ended. (“Cooling off period” begins on the day after your EDF contract is signed)
  • If you decide to switch within your 14-day “cooling off period”: It should take you no more than five working days to change your billing and supply details to a new address.

  • Saturday: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

  • You will get the name of your network provider.

How to cancel EDF Energy?

If you want to cancel EDF energy then you simply need to switch to another energy provider. As a result, your contract with EDF will be automatically cancelled. Please remember that you may be charged an exit fee depending on your tariff. This doesn’t apply if you cancel within the first 14 days of signing up or if your tariff has 3 months or less remaining.
