Moreover, the algorithm is designed to deliver accurate quotes. By relying on our users’ approximative inventory, the platform generates real-time estimates. This also prevents lowball quotes intended to secure a job, only to raise the price later on moving day.
Additionally, it is important to note that MovingWaldo manages the payment transaction on moving day, not the moving company. This safeguards consumers against fraudulent additional charges, as the moving company is only paid by MovingWaldo for charges that have been pre-approved. For example, on moving day, the moving company cannot arbitrarily increase the price for moving a specific item, as the pricing has already been established by MovingWaldo. Any additional fee that is not justified and approved by MovingWaldo will be revoked and promptly reimbursed to the client.
*Please note that additional labor time is not considered a hidden fee unless deemed unreasonable, as varying move circumstances and home items sometimes require extra time.

Contractual business relationship: MovingWaldo has legal contracts in place with all the moving companies featured on our platform. These contracts require the companies to adhere to our strict quality standards in terms of service and professionalism. In the event of non-compliance, MovingWaldo enforces penalties to discourage unethical or unprofessional practices.
Dedicated booking expert for each move: Every MovingWaldo user is assigned a dedicated booking expert who guides them through the booking process, assists with move preparations, answers any questions that arise, and, if necessary, acts as a mediator between the client and the moving company.
Secured transactions and quality assurance: Our platform ensures a transparent and straightforward transaction process, protecting users from hidden fees. Both the deposit and final payment are processed through our system, allowing MovingWaldo to step in if any issues arise during the move. Movers are paid only once a fair resolution has been reached. Any damages are compensated based on the protection coverage provided by the moving company.
Real-time assistance and reactivity: With our extensive network of moving companies, MovingWaldo can respond quickly to unforeseen events, such as delays or truck breakdowns. If needed, we can mobilize a different moving crew on the day of the move to ensure a smooth experience.
Review process: Inspired by platforms like Uber, our system allows clients to rate their move based on key criteria: punctuality, professionalism, and efficiency. Only MovingWaldo users can leave reviews, ensuring authenticity and preventing fake feedback.
